Fair Dice · How it works
Dice you can
check yourself.
“Too many sevens” is the number-one complaint about craps apps. In both Billy Bubs apps, the dice are fair, the math is shown, and the stats are one tab away.
How a roll happens
- Secure random dice. Each die is a fair 1 to 6 from your device’s secure random generator. The tumbling animation never decides the roll.
- Stats in plain words. Totals vs expected, sevens vs 1 in 6, and a fairness test once you’ve rolled 180 times.
- Dice have no memory. Not your bets, your streak or the Blazing meter can change the next roll.
- Practice only. Play chips have no cash value. Nothing to buy back, nothing to cash out.
Illustrative numbers. The app shows your own rolls: this session, last 100 or all time.
Under the hood
No tricks, in plain words.
One fair draw per die
Each die is drawn from your device’s secure random generator. Values that would bias the result are thrown away and redrawn, so all six faces are exactly equally likely.
Animation is not the result
The tumbling dice, the dome air and the throw are for show. The result is decided first, and the animation lands on it. Your dice set never changes a Standard roll.
A fairness test you can read
After 180 rolls, a chi-square test says “Within normal range”, “A bit unusual” or “Rare result”. Never “the dice are due”.
What the tab shows
Totals 2–12 vs expected, sevens vs 16.67%, each die’s faces, hard vs easy, streaks, last 20 rolls, and (Table Craps) rolls per seven.
Simulations are labeled
Table Craps Premium has an optional shooter-skill simulation. Those rolls are tagged and left out of the fairness stats by default.
Practice only
Play chips have no cash value. Your stats stay on your phone. Premium adds a CSV export of every roll.
